  • 1990s

    Became the only law firm recommended by the Chinese government in its large-scale overseas promotional television features.

  • 1995

    Founded the Shanghai Real Estate Law Symposium, which was held annually for eight consecutive years, establishing the firm as a professional leader in the real estate sector.

  • 2000

    Introduced the service philosophy of "unconditional refunds for complaints" to build and strengthen the Everbright service brand.

  • 2001

    Became the first Shanghai law firm to be invited as a guest on the CCTV program "Legal Report" (今日说法).

  • 2002

    Handled new types of real estate civil cases, including the "nominal floor" lawsuit, pioneering the use of case precedent to address legal gaps. This case was later adopted and included in a judicial interpretation.

    Launched a legal service for home buyers, pioneering comprehensive legal representation for property purchases in China. This initiative received extensive coverage from national and local media, including CCTV.

  • 2003

    Began to explore the field of maritime and admiralty disputes and established a dedicated professional team.

    The firm relocated to a villa office on Julu Road in Jing'an District, Shanghai.

  • 2005

    Completed its restructuring to become a joint-stock law firm, implementing an executive director responsibility system under the leadership of the board of shareholders.

  • 2006

    Partnered with Beihong Middle School to establish a legal education base for teenagers, exploring new methods for youth legal education.

    Collaborated with Israeli law firm Balter, Guth, Aloni & Co. and Herzelia Capital Ltd. to provide comprehensive legal services for Jewish entrepreneurs investing in China.

  • 2007

    Partnered with the East China University of Political Science and Law to establish a corporate law research base, focusing on customized articles of association to protect shareholder rights.

  • 2008

    The firm was converted into a partnership.

  • 2010

    The Shangqiu Office was approved and opened, becoming the first branch established by an out-of-province law firm in Shangqiu City and the first branch opened by a Shanghai firm in Henan Province.

  • 2013

    The firm relocated to Jiuzun Building in Changning District, Shanghai.

  • 2019

    The firm relocated to The Center in Xuhui District, Shanghai.

  • 2022

    Recognized as a Tier-1 Bankruptcy Administrator by the Shanghai High People's Court.

  • 2023

    The Taizhou Office was established.

  • 2024

    The Kunming, Hong Kong, and Zhengzhou branches, as well as the Cape Town office, were successively established.
