Sissi Zheng graduated from Shanghai University and holds an LL.M. from Fudan University. She was named an Outstanding Young Lawyer of Hongkou District in the fourth selection cycle and is a member of the lecturer group for the Eighth Five-Year Plan for Public Legal Education.

Ms. Zheng has extensive experience in restructuring and insolvency, real estate, and commercial litigation and arbitration. Her strong knowledge of finance and auditing enables her to handle complex and challenging matters efficiently and professionally.

In 2015, as a member of the legal advisory team to Shanghai Real Estate Group Sanlin Binjiang Ecological Construction Co., Ltd., Ms. Zheng participated in the redevelopment of the Sanlin Wedge-Shaped Green Space “urban village” in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. In 2020, she represented a party in China’s first case involving a contract for the sale and purchase of stem cells.

Ms. Zheng currently serves as a deputy director of the Fumin Legal Services Center, a public-interest organization established with the support of the local justice bureau. She regularly participates in community legal education initiatives and has provided extensive legal consultations to local residents. The centre has been described by the media as a convenient neighbourhood source of legal assistance.
