Cici Chen graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law and has passed the Test for English Majors Band 8 (TEM-8). Her practice focuses on investment and financing, M&A, and corporate and commercial matters.

Ms. Chen has acted as lead counsel on several M&A transactions and has served as legal counsel to a number of investment firms, giving her substantial transactional experience in investment and financing matters. She has also undertaken a long-term secondment to the in-house legal department of a foreign-invested company, gaining an in-depth understanding of the internal structures, operating processes and corporate cultures of foreign-invested enterprises.

Ms. Chen regularly advises on day-to-day corporate legal matters. She has particular experience in government-facing legal and regulatory matters, senior executive departures and workforce restructuring projects, including large-scale redundancies. Her clients are primarily foreign-invested enterprises.
