Qi Li is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and holds a Juris Master (J.M.) degree.
From 2013 to 2021, he served as Deputy General Manager and General Counsel of Zhengzhou Xieli Construction Equipment Co., Ltd. In that role, Mr. Li assisted with corporate strategy, oversaw operations across business functions, participated in major corporate decisions, and helped establish the company’s legal risk management and compliance framework.
Drawing on this in-house experience, he advises on commercial disputes, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, distressed debt workouts, court-supervised reorganizations and liquidations, and general corporate matters. His practice focuses particularly on major and complex commercial litigation, corporate acquisitions and restructurings, business rescue, and investment and financing risk management. He currently serves as legal counsel to a number of large state-owned enterprises.
