Xiaojun Yang has broad experience in maritime and admiralty law, international trade and economic crime matters. He has particular experience in letters of credit, financial investigations, carriage of goods by sea and related logistics, as well as the structuring and implementation of investment projects.
Mr. Yang has long advised major logistics and transportation enterprises and has acted as cooperating counsel to the TT Club. He combines industry knowledge with strong commercial judgment to provide clients with practical and effective legal solutions.

- Handled Shanghai’s first letter-of-credit fraud case involving approximately RMB 100 million.
- Represented Morrison Express Corp. (U.S.A.) in a cargo damage claim against China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited and Air China Limited.
- Handled a maritime freight contract dispute involving Shanghai Land-Ocean Inchcape International Container Transport Co., Ltd.
- Represented Yueqing Jiangnan Shipping Co., Ltd. in a marine insurance claim against the Shanghai branch of China Pacific Insurance Company arising from the sinking of a vessel.
- Acted in an arbitration between Hunter Douglas Industries (China) Co., Ltd. and Taiwan Yejun Co., Ltd. concerning an international sale of goods contract.
- Handled a dispute concerning the exclusive distributorship of Stella Artois beer produced by Belgium-based Interbrew.
- Designed an organization-wide legal framework for the Shanghai Technology Entrepreneurship Foundation for Graduates.
- Advised Shanghai Jianxiang Real Estate Co., Ltd. on the overall planning and operation of a real estate development project.
- Developed a corporate restructuring plan for China Audio-Video Corporation.
- Advised Shanghai Motion Magic Digital Entertainment Corp., a subsidiary of Shanghai Media Group, on the design and implementation of its capital increase and share expansion.
