Atty. Liu serves as an arbitrator at the Shanghai Arbitration Commission, a practical master’s mentor at Tongji University, and a director of the Shanghai Bankruptcy Administrators Association, where he also chairs the Cross-Border Bankruptcy Research Committee. Additionally, he is a director and deputy director of the North Bund Enterprise Out-of-Court Restructuring Center and was appointed as a founding mediator at the North Bund Multidimensional Commercial Mediation Center.

Under Atty. Liu’s leadership, Everbright Law Firm has obtained First-Tier Bankruptcy Administrator qualifications recognized by the Shanghai High People’s Court. His team possesses extensive experience handling domestic and cross-border bankruptcy and restructuring cases.
Academic Contributions and Publications
Atty. Liu contributed to the translation of Property Management Law in Major Contemporary Countries (Peking University Press, 2014) and authored A Study on the Protection of Shareholder Rights(Peking University Press, 2016). He co-authored Compliance and Legal Practice in Futures and Derivatives: Insights into Emerging Issues (Law Press China, 2024) and served as the chief editor of Practical Guidelines for Bankruptcy Administrators (Peking University Press, 2024).

- The heritage liquidation case involving the actual controller of a group in Yunnan (the heritage case ever accepted by Yunnan Higher Court with the largest subject amount);
- Suing in China mainland for a global known investment institution against one of the big four accounting firms for issuing untrue audit report;
- A series of financing trade dispute cases of a central enterprise (accumulated subject amount over 1 billion yuan);
- A series of dispute cases of e-commerce platform of a US stock listed company (the first case in China to compensate at ten time for selling fake product, one of the typical Internet judicial cases of China published the first time by the Supreme People’s Court in 2019);
- Case of company resolution dispute (validity review of a Board of Shareholders resolution for oriented capital reduction, one of the excellent case examples of the national court system in 2019).
