Mr. Liu is a Grade II Lawyer and holds a master’s degree in Economic Law from East China University of Political Science and Law. He holds professional qualifications in the securities, futures and fund industries, as well as qualifications as an independent director and a licensed public relations professional.

Mr. Liu serves as an arbitrator with the Shanghai Arbitration Commission and an adjunct postgraduate supervisor at Tongji University. He is a Council Member of the Shanghai Association of Bankruptcy Administrators and Chair of its Cross-Border Insolvency Practice Research Committee; a Board Member and Deputy Director of the North Bund Enterprise Out-of-Court Restructuring Center; an inaugural mediator with both the North Bund Alternative Dispute Resolution Center and the Shanghai Eastern International Commercial Mediation Center; and an expert with the China Beijing Equity Exchange.

Mr. Liu led the firm in securing Class I enterprise bankruptcy administrator status recognized by the Shanghai High People’s Court. His team has extensive experience handling domestic and cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters.

He co-translated Property Management Laws in Major Contemporary Jurisdictions (Peking University Press, 2014), authored A Study on the Protection of Shareholders’ Rights (Peking University Press, 2016), contributed to Futures and Derivatives Compliance: Legal Practice and Analysis of Emerging Issues (Law Press China, 2024), and served as editor-in-chief of Practical Guide for Bankruptcy Administrators (Peking University Press, 2024).
