Dagui Wu graduated in 1997 from what is now East China University of Political Science and Law and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Before entering private legal practice in 2007, Dagui Wu worked at the Legislative Affairs Office of the Kunming Municipal People’s Government and at the CPC Yunnan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Yunnan Provincial Department of Supervision.

During public service, Dagui Wu participated in research, drafting, revision and consultation work relating to laws, regulations, administrative rules and intra-Party regulations at the central, provincial and municipal levels. This work involved legislative and regulatory initiatives of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, the National People’s Congress, the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and relevant Party and government authorities in Yunnan Province and Kunming. This experience has given Dagui Wu an in-depth understanding of China’s legal and policy framework and its practical application.

Dagui Wu has long served as retained legal counsel to a number of Party and government bodies and state-owned enterprises. Adept at assembling multidisciplinary teams and coordinating diverse resources and professionals, Dagui Wu has substantial experience handling major and complex legal matters.
