The Cape Town Office advises on cross-border investment and M&A, corporate establishment and ongoing operations, commercial contracts, employment and labor matters, immigration, import and product compliance, and commercial dispute resolution. It also assists individuals living, working or doing business in South Africa with family, succession and related matters. Its professionals have local experience advising Chinese businesses on investments and acquisitions involving industrial, mining and winery projects, as well as day-to-day legal and compliance matters.

The office works with local Chinese community and professional organizations and, as matters require, coordinates with Everbright’s offices in China and overseas and other professional advisors. It provides legal support from market entry and ongoing compliance through dispute resolution, helping clients identify and manage cross-border risks and implement their commercial arrangements.
